It was with great pride that Pollok United Academy welcomed UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin , SFA President Alan McRae and Chief Executive Stewart Regan on a fact finding visit. Our club was chosen by the SFA to showcase a good example of grass roots football and in particular it’s thriving girls section. It was a day for everyone involved in the Academy to be proud of and fantastic recognition for your achievements and dedication. Well done everyone.
It is with great pride to announce our Janie as the SFA Grass roots peoples choice winner at this years awards ceremony. Janie was presented with her trophy by Kenny Dalglish at the glittering ceremony held at Hampden Park. Janie has been a huge source of energy at the academy and an inspirational figure to our girls and fellow coaches. Congratulations Janie, I don’t think there will ever be a more deserving champion.
